	The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) jointly coordinate the activities of the International Year of Microcredit.
	November 18, 2004 will officially launch the International Year of Microcredit at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Other national and regional launch events will take place around the world.
