The Italian Banking Association (ABI)
The Italian Banking Association (Associazione Bancaria Italiana, hereinafter "ABI") is a voluntary non-profit association with over 1,000 members including banks (in the form of companies limited by shares), financial intermediaries and associations of banks. The role of ABI consists in raising the awareness, in the civil society and in the banking and financial system, of such social values and behaviours as are inspired by the principles of entrepreneurship and creation of a free and competitive market, in line with domestic and EU regulations.
